The Connected Church Dashboard helps pastors turn their weekly church metrics into a clear dashboard and AI leadership briefs. We take the trust you place in us seriously — this page explains, in plain language, what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Who we are
The Connected Church Dashboard™ (“the Dashboard,” “we,” “us”) is a product of The Connected Church Co. When you create an account, upload data, or email us, this policy applies. Questions are always welcome at hello@theconnectedchurch.com.
What we collect
We keep this short on purpose. We collect:
- Account info — your name, email, and church name when you sign up.
- Church metrics you upload — the attendance, giving, salvations, baptisms, group, and volunteer numbers you enter or upload by spreadsheet, organized by campus and date.
- Billing info — handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
- Basic usage data — things like sign-in times and which pages you visit, so we can keep the product reliable.
We do not ask for or store personal information about individual congregants. The Dashboard is built for church-level and campus-level numbers, not member records.
How we use it
- To show you your dashboard, reports, and trends.
- To generate your AI leadership briefs (see the next section for how that works).
- To operate billing, support, and account security.
- To send you product and pilot communications you've opted into — you can unsubscribe any time.
We do not sell your data, and we do not share your church's numbers with other churches or advertisers. Ever.
AI and your data
Your leadership briefs are generated using Anthropic's Claude API. When we create a brief, we send the relevant metrics to Anthropic to produce that response. Per Anthropic's API terms, your data is not used to train their models. We also do not use your church's data to train any model of our own.
Who else touches your data (subprocessors)
We rely on a small set of trusted providers to run the product. Each only receives what it needs to do its job:
- Supabase — secure database and authentication.
- Vercel — application hosting.
- Anthropic — AI leadership briefs (no training on your data).
- Stripe — payment processing.
How long we keep it
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel, you can ask us to delete your church's data and we'll remove it from our active systems within 30 days, except where we're required to keep limited billing records.
Security
Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is restricted to your account, and our database enforces row-level security so one church can never see another's numbers. No system is perfectly secure, but we treat your data with the same care we'd want for our own church.
Your choices
- Access, correct, or export your data — just email us and we'll help.
- Delete your account and data at any time.
- Opt out of non-essential emails using the unsubscribe link.
Changes to this policy
If we make a meaningful change, we'll update the date at the top and, for significant changes, let you know by email. Continuing to use the Dashboard after a change means you accept the updated policy.
